Terms and Conditions for the Sale and Use of Digital STL Files for 3D printing

1. Scope of Agreement
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases and downloads of digital 3D model files in STL format (“Files”) from [Your Company Name] (“Seller”). By purchasing, downloading, or using the Files, you (“Buyer”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. License Grant and Usage Restrictions
2.1 Upon full payment, the Buyer is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Files for private, non-commercial 3D printing purposes only.
2.2 Commercial use, including but not limited to resale of printed models, distribution of the Files, or use in any business activity, is prohibited unless a separate commercial license has been explicitly granted in writing by the Seller.
2.3 The Buyer shall not:

Share, upload, or otherwise distribute the Files to third parties,

Modify and redistribute the Files as their own,

Circumvent technical protections or licensing restrictions.

3. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, in the Files remain exclusively with the Seller. No ownership of the Files is transferred to the Buyer. Any unauthorized use constitutes an infringement of intellectual property rights and may lead to legal action.

4. Product Nature and Warranties
4.1 The Files are provided as digital products only.
4.2 The Files are provided “as is,” without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or compatibility with specific 3D printers or materials.
4.3 The Seller does not warrant that the Files will be error-free, or that the resulting 3D prints will be functional, safe, or suitable for any particular application.

5. Safety Disclaimer and Liability
5.1 3D printing involves mechanical, thermal, and material-related risks. The Buyer is solely responsible for ensuring safe printing practices and proper handling of printed objects.
5.2 The Seller shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use the Files or any printed objects derived from them.
5.3 The Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Seller from any claims arising from third-party use or misuse of printed models.

6. No Refund Policy
Due to the intangible nature of digital products, all sales are final. Refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are not accepted once the download link has been provided or the Files have been accessed. In case of questions or complaints please contact info@yachtprint.de

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Stuttgart, Germany.

8. Amendments
The Seller reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase shall apply.
