The Tri65 is light and small trimaran that is designed to use the rig and certain other parts of the DragonFlite65 (DF65). It is very fast to build and it can fly two hulls just like bigger tris. Despite the name including the number 65 (to indicate the proximity to DF65 and RG65), the center hull is actually 72cmlong. By that the hull has the necessary volume and a proper length-width-ratio.

1. Optimized foiling package with foils attached 50mm further to the front. The boat needs some wind to foil, but then, even upwind foiling is possible.

2. Adapted RC tray with boxes for battery and receiver. New setup with standard sized sail winch instead of sail adjustment servo. Several alternatives. Horizontal hull stringer for fixation.

3. Detachable ama hulls allow to switch from foiling to non-foiling setup in minutes

4. Simplified center hull deck structure without recess and smaller sheet poles

5. Special “Mini20 rule” for competitive, comparable racing. The boat is rule compliant.
